Perhaps instead of final hit they do milestone hits for example 5-10 gems if you get the hundredth the two hundred and fifty second the five hundredth etc. That way you can still get the 50 gems but you have to hit the time gate multiple times

I know this is an older discussion but I am very frustrated with zero contributers. I'm removing several off my list. If you are interested in a good time gate buddy, please send a request. My game name is the same as on here. Thanks.

        Heya!

I know we share a bunch on our friends and suggested friends lists, so I know a few you are talking about. Want to say if you ever see me sit at 0 for an hour, it's because I've been getting booted randomly from the game during gates with the game saying "user is logged in elsewhere". I'm not, it's a connection glitch I've been having. But when I go back to hit I can't It then counts me being booted as my run in the gate -.-

But would like to compare lists with you somehow. I have my private messaging activated on my profile page, so you can try to send me one if you want.

Hope things are going well for you otherwise!

Hey Kitty, we do share a lot of friend and the majority of the time I don't have a problem with non contributes. Yes I've been in a gate and the game decided to crash on me, but in an hour I make up for it. The problem is when for the entire gate they sit at zero. I doubt that the game crashed on them that much. As far as PM you, I don't think that feature is set up right now. I have one open space on friends list if any of our guild mates wanted to add me. BTW, congrats on getting Pickles in the guild. He's awesome.

I'll mention it in guild next I go in. Ya, we've both seen those who do nothing. I still have one who does that consistantly on my friends list that I haven't taken off simply because they have been there since I joined the game. They used to sit until the end, then do a swoop on all gates they joined, but now just do nothing but sit with a 0. There is that one we both had the same day on our gates, and I joined their gate and they did it there.

I know a bunch of new folks will do it. One I know IRL and asked why they did it, they said it was because they knew they couldn't hit for that many to make a huge difference, so didn't want to be embarrassed. Told them any hits are better than no hits, especially when you will go off any invite lists if you constantly do 0. Now they hit.

Many in guild know how I feel about no hitters and will apologize if they grab a spot and wind up either missing out on hitting (it closes fast) or RL got in way and didn't get to, but hey, they always hit when they go into gates, I know if they don't, there's a good reason.

Gotta run line to their anime club, but ya, I'll mention that when I get back and go on! & ya, it's fun having OP on our side LOL

Don't know if it would be possible with programming, but a couple ideas, if they are workable. 1. Boot the non hitter from the gate after 2 hours to allow someone else to join. 2. They don't get a share of the rewards if they don't hit at least 1x. Also, sometimes it's the gate starter that doesn't hit. Any way to make then have to hit once before they can invite others to join the gate?
I rarely see those who sit at zero and swoop in for the final hit. I remove those peeps from my friends list so they don't get a chance.

I noticed lately that a few of the big hitters have sat at zero for a while. I can't tell if they are saving a spot on their favorite time gate or if there is a glitch on their attempt, then they go to bed. It doesn't really bother me since they frequently hit well over 200. We usually have them cleared in a few hours regardless. I can't even remember the last time I was in a gate that didn't finish in the allotted time.

Yeah, as fast as most gates go down now, it's not much of an issue anymore.
